Took my husband there for a healthy lunch on our way to the cinema - he really enjoyed it! I’ve been a few times myself and absolutely love it. Their iced coconut latte is to die for, and the meals are always tasty, fresh, and full of flavour. Can’t fault anything so far, and there’s still so much on the menu I want to try. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

Absolutely fantastic place. Coming from Australia I have struggled with the quality of coffee and cafes in the UK but luckily I stumbled across this little gem. Fantastic coffee, healthy food, great options, lovely location, good parking. Could not recommend this place more.

A wonderful hidden gem of a cafe/bar. Licensed, is only open until mid afternoon most days. The food is freshly prepared, with Gluten free, Vegan options. Worth seeking out as is hidden on a small industrial estate. Superb coffee and friendly staff. If you are served by Esme you will be well looked after. Enjoy. M

A highly recommended place for food and drinks! The atmosphere is amazing! Two of the staff in particular, Nick and Holly, really stand out to me due to their hospitality and work ethic. It’s also great for a quick catch up with friends over lunch and to get work done.

We came in as a group of 8 during the busy morning service and were, very kindly, sat in the Pilates studio for brunch (essentially private dining, thank you Kenny and team)! Various brunch options available, I went for the veggie smash up (pic included). I think it’s a great idea to combine a gym and a brunch space. All the best!

I have been to The Base Bar in Derby a few times before and each visit is better than the last. This time I popped along won’t be daughter for breakfast before heading into town for a mooch round the shops. I went for their smashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough with added bacon and an oat milk latte and the daughter went for a berry granola bowl and hazelnut iced latter. Both were delicious it’s definitely a place to go and check out yourself and I can’t wait to go back for more.

Yummy food. Great prices, did a build your own breakfast as I’m awkward with food. Sourdough was lovely and eggs perfect. Also got a flat white and had to try the banoffee protein treat! The treat was amazing. Highly recommend the sweet treats! Thank you.
